Matailong Du (Duma) is a photographer. After working with National Public Radio (NPR), Leica Camera and Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), he began to work as an independent photographer and his work have been published on The Washington Post, NPR, ABC News etc. He also works closely with Smithsonian Institution such as National Portrait Gallery, The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, National Museum of American Indian and National Postal Museum to cover behind-the-scenes stories, exhibit installations, performance arts and portraits in Washington, D.C. Matailong holds a M.A. in New Media Photojournalism from The George Washington University and a B.S. in Informatics from Indiana University Bloomington.
